Position Overview
Rotate Digital seeks a talented Website Developer to join our team and help design, build, and optimize websites for maximum visibility and search engine ranking. This role blends web development skills with SEO expertise to drive organic traffic, boost user experience, and continuously improve client websites. As this is a remote position, it requires a self-driven, disciplined professional skilled in time management.

Key Responsibilities
- Website Development & Maintenance: Create and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites in line with Rotate Digital’s quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and maintain rigorous quality standards for each project.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging web technologies, sharing insights with the team for ongoing innovation.
- Cross-Department Communication: Work closely with other departments, ensuring efficient collaboration and prompt responses to queries.
- Time Tracking: Record time spent on all projects to assist with resource allocation and workload management.
Outcomes & Metrics
- Timely Project Delivery
- Complete projects within the defined timelines, delivering exceptional website performance to enhance SEO results for clients within the first 45 days.
- Website Performance Excellence
- Focus on producing fast-loading, high-quality websites that consistently outperform competitors in search engine rankings.
- Metrics include page load speed, core web vitals, and the number of revisions needed post-launch.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
- Skilled in designing responsive websites that function across multiple devices.
- Experience integrating CRM systems, chat features, and other tools to enhance site functionality.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex issues independently, with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Willingness to explore new technologies and best practices, contributing ideas to the team.
- System Architecture Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of systems architecture and WordPress design, focused on producing quality, maintainable code.

Compensation
The salary range is ₦1,400,000 monthly (or $1,400-$2,400, depending on experience). A performance review, potential for bonuses, and possible salary adjustments are available after six months of employment.
