Phillipe Couthino joins Aston Villa on loan: Aston Villa and Barcelona have confirmed an agreement to return Philippe Coutinho to the Premier League on loan. Aston Villa pays the main part of the salary.

The Brazilian will use whatever is left of the season at Villa Park, likely to finish a medical and get a work permit. Steven Gerrard‘s side will have an option to buy toward the part of the arrangement.

Upon the signing, Gerrard said: “I don’t think you get a nickname as a magician if you’re not a special footballer.”

While he actually averages around a goal every four appearances for Barça, he has neglected to solidify a spot in their beginning XI. The assailant spent the 2019/20 season borrowed with Bayern Munich, where he scored 11 objectives in 38 appearances.

However, no permanent deal appeared and he was back in La Liga last campaign, however, wounds hampered his odds of developing any sort of structure.

His transition to Villa Park will see him rejoin director Gerrard, whom he played close by for over two seasons at Anfield.

Coutinho is the most recent assaulting approaching for Villa. Throughout the late spring, with the flight of Jack Grealish to Manchester City, Danny Ings, Emiliano Buendia, and Leon Bailey were totally marked, however, their profits have been blended up until this point.

Ings has scored four Premier League goals up to this point, while Buendia and Bailey have one each, with the last option battling habitually with wounds.

Gerrard’s side have an extreme task in the FA Cup this end of the week, taking on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night, however it’s improbable Coutinho will make his introduction in that game.
