Everton sack Rafa Benitez from role as head coach: Everton have headed out in different directions from coach Rafa Benitez, the club reported on Sunday.

The choice to free Benitez from his obligations was taken after a gathering by the board following an astonishing misfortune to lower part of the table club, Norwich City on Saturday.

Benitez leaves the club only a half year into his agreement and has now overseen four diverse Premier League clubs.

The Toffees have won just once in the Premier League since September; sitting 15th in the league table, and 6 points over the relegation zone. The helpless run of structure have prompted Everton fans requiring the sack of the previous Liverpool chief.

A short club articulation got by ibakemusic from the club’s sites reads: “Everton Football Club can confirm the departure of Rafael Benitez as First Team manager. “Benitez, who joined Everton in June 2021, has left the Club with immediate effect.

“An update on a permanent replacement will be made in due course.”
