Court convicts skit maker Dgeneral for drug trafficking: A Federal High Court, sitting in Lagos, has convicted a 22-year-old jokester and skit maker, Joshua Sunday, prominently called ‘Degeneral’, for unlawful ownership of 14 grams of Tramadol.
Justice Daniel Osiagor, additionally denounced close by the jokester, Caleb William, who was blamed for unlawful ownership of 15 grams of Cannabis Sativa, famously called pot.
The Judge criticized the two after they conceded to a count charge of unlawful ownership of the prohibited substance, liked against them by the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

As per the examiners, the offenses submitted by the convicts are in opposition to and culpable under Section 11 (c) of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency ACT CAP N30 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.
In any case, the convicts’ insight, Lilian Omotunde, driving, O. Ogunleye, asked the court not to convict the two men, after they conceded to the charges.
In the interim, the examiner encouraged the court to sentence them as recommended by Section 356(2) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015, having conceded to the accuse and a few the reality of the charge as inspected by the indictment.
Be that as it may, Justice Osiagor, in his judgment, while articulating them at real fault for the charged, declined to sentence them, however forewarned them to “go and sin no more”.
